In 2020, Johannes had a dream. It would be amazing to build something huge that floats on the sea. A quick Google search and some basic research quickly dismissed the idea—it would be too expensive.

In 2022, Johannes read an article about recycling wind turbines. The massive fiberglass rotor blades were the biggest challenge and cost factor. But boats are also made of fiberglass. The old dream came back to life.

In 2024, after thorough research and brainstorming at Kiuas Accelerator, a few patents were formed around the dream, as well as Oy Reverlast Ab. The team was completed with three alumni from Aalto University's schools of technology, art, and business.

The future is full of possibilities and uncertainty. Predicting our future would be nothing more than empty rhetoric. Our values, on the other hand, stand the test of time and give an idea of what we intend to do. There are three of them:

1) High-quality products – we only release finished and functional products from our workshops to our customers.

2) Sustainable development – we do not burden our planet any more than necessary in our pursuit of efficiency or commercial profit.

3) A good workplace – we want to create a workplace where everyone is free to be themselves and where the entire organization can enjoy the fruits of the company's performance.
